Aims and Scope

The editorial policy of the “Psychology and Personality” journal is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demands on the quality of scientific research; obligatory peer review of articles; collegiality in making decisions on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communicating with authors; strict compliance with copyright and related rights. The main criterion in the selection of materials for publication is their originality and relevance of ideas, the scientific and factual reliability of the presented material.

The purpose of “Psychology and Personality” is to address theoretical and methodological issues in personality psychology, present findings from experimental and applied research in this field, and promote a person-centered approach in practical psychology and psychotherapy.

Journal objectives:

  • publication of scientific results on the expansion and modernization of research in all aspects of personality psychology, including theoretical studies, experimental research, and practical applications in psychotherapy;
  • establishment of partnership cooperation with foreign scientific publishing organisations;
  • compliance with editorial ethics.

  • Theoretical and Methodological Issues of Personality Psychology: research aimed at refining personality theories, developing new approaches to personality study, or critically analyzing existing theories and methods;
  • Experimental and Applied Research in the Field of Personality Psychology: studying specific aspects of personality, as well as research aimed at using psychological knowledge to solve practical problems;
  • Acmeological Culture of Personality as a Subject of Work and Communication: research on self-development and self-realization processes of personality in the context of its professional and social activities;
  • Personality Psychodiagnostics: research aimed at developing and improving methods of personality diagnostics, determining its characteristics and features;
  • Clinical-biological Aspects of Personality Disorders: considering the relationship between biological factors and personality disorders, as well as methods of treatment and diagnosis of such disorders;
  • Psychologist's Personality: research on professional aspects of psychological work, including the formation of professional qualities, ethical standards, and personal development of practicing psychologists.
